Supervised Counselor | Social Media Manager
Kristina DeLeGal holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood General & Special Education and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Prior to joining Anchored, Kristina worked as a 4th-grade teacher for the Wayne County School System for 9 years. Her experience in education laid the foundation for her passion for counseling and community advocacy, as she realized the importance of providing emotional and mental health support alongside academic guidance. Her dual roles as a counselor and community advocate allow her to bridge the gap between education, mental health, and the resources that foster resilience and well-being. Additionally, Kristina works as Anchored’s social media manager and promotional graphic design artist. Her unique gifting in creativity, visual aesthetic, and use of words provides Anchored with engaging and impactful content that effectively communicates its mission. Her ability to blend creativity with strategy ensures that Anchored’s message reaches and resonates with the community, fostering awareness, support, and meaningful connections.
Outside of her professional life, Kristina is happily married to her husband, Philip, and they have one son. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, leading worship at her church, hosting small group events, and indulging in her love for shopping, interior design, and living a slower paced life on the family farm.
