Misty Surrency Mobley brings a wealth of experience and compassion to Anchored as a Life Coach, Case Manager, and Group Facilitator. With a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services/Social Work, Misty is certified in Cognitive Behavioral Training (CBT), Aggression Replacement Therapy (ART), Strengthening Families, and Restorative Justice. Her extensive background includes roles as a Juvenile Probation and Parole Officer, Family Community Support Specialist, and Family Case Manager, where she has consistently guided individuals and families toward attainable goals, effective problem-solving, and accessing essential resources.

A dedicated community advocate, Misty is an active member of the Wayne County Exchange Club, leads the Wayne County 4-H Horse Club, coordinates support groups at Shane’s Crib, and the ‘Anchored Afterschool’ youth program through the Boys & Girls Club. Her love for animals is evident as she cares for a lively crew, including 3 horses, 2 dogs, 3 cats, a bunny, a donkey and his best friend Buck the pony, and 30 hens.

Misty’s favorite place is within the walls of her church, where she finds spiritual strength and fellowship. She also treasures time with her disciple group, the camaraderie of the Anchored in Wellness team, and the joy of living in a supportive small-town community.

Driven by her natural instinct to help, Misty embodies a servant’s heart, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. She is deeply grateful for God’s goodness in her life, family, friends, and the opportunity to impact others positively.
