Marissa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Since beginning her career in the summer of 2021, she has been dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals navigating life’s challenges. She currently serves clients in both Waycross and Jesup, offering a safe and supportive space for healing and growth.
A Brantley County native, Marissa has a deep connection to the communities she serves. She is married to a teacher and coach, and values the importance of strong relationships and community support.
Outside of her work, Marissa enjoys spending time with her husband and family, taking afternoon walks or bike rides, sitting outside in the sunlight or at the beach, and participating in her church small group.
Marissa believes in creating a welcoming, nonjudgmental space for her clients. “I look forward to listening non-judgmentally and being a safe space for my clients,” she shares.
Her passion for helping others, combined with her expertise and warm, empathetic approach, makes her a valuable part of the Anchored team.
