With over a decade of experience in counseling and addiction recovery, Darren Deal is dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the challenges of addiction and find hope in healing. A former pastor with five years of ministry experience, Darren transitioned to working in drug court, where he spent eight years supporting individuals in recovery. For the past four years, he has been a cornerstone of the Anchored team, combining his compassionate approach with evidence-based practices to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those he serves.
Darren’s journey into this field was inspired by a deep desire to help others overcome struggles and find lasting transformation. Outside of his professional life, Darren is a proud father to three children—Zach, Olivia, and Kayla—and a grandfather to Kaysn. When he’s not working, you can find him enjoying his favorite pastime: fishing.
